16 February, 2011. Lampedusa, Italy. A Tunisian immigrant sits on a hill looking towards the centre of Lampedusa. According to the Italian Interior Ministry, since the unrest began in Tunisia in mid-January, some 6,300 immigrants, all but 100 of them from Tunisia, have arrived in Lampedusa, an island of 6,000 people that lives on fishing and tourism and is having a thriving off-season.
